The experiments in chemistry 216 are designed to encourage group work, critical thinking skills and creativity. In each experiment you will explore a different aspect of a new reaction involving the chemistry of carbonyl compounds. Experiments 1 & 2 will be performed individually and experiments 3-7 will be performed in groups. Although many are group experiments, lab notebook pages and formal lab reports should be prepared individually.
